Re: WTB SWB leaf springs

Thought so too but LWB springs are 62" eye to eye. Made that mistake and put them on my 83. They work but its not right.

Re: WTB SWB leaf springs

I just went out and measured my 84 lwb that I'm parting out...the rear springs on it are 52 inches eye to eye...it's a 2wd for reference...

Re: WTB SWB leaf springs

That's weird. The springs I have on my SWB now came off a 80-81 LWB pickup. Wonder if they were wrong for that truck and I didn't notice. Thanks.

Re: WTB SWB leaf springs

There are two leaf spring lengths, "53" and "56"...both will work on any wheelbase...the only difference is the rear hanger location. The longer leafs have it positioned further back on the frame. There are factory holes on all frames for both locations (to accomodate both leaf springs).

Now that makes sense.

Thanks
