Don't do it. Find a used cell to move to the rear.

Re: stock gas tank sumped ?

If you shop around you can get a deal on a used cell. I have bought two 16 gallon cells used for less than 75.00ea. I would not want the fuel smell in the cab. Moving the weight to the rear helps with weight transfer. I take my hot rods to the track.

Re: stock gas tank sumped ?

I don't think it can be done without modifying cutting a big hole in the back of the cab. Besides money what advanatage do you see?

Buying a cell and mounting in the bed is safer, easier and it moves weight to the rear where you need it.

Re: stock gas tank sumped ?

the bed on my truck is perfect and freshly done. and i dont wanna cut it up. so i figured that it would be easier and cheeper to do the stock tank. i would do hard lines out the cab and id try to aim it out the stock hole and use the stock 3/8 line as the return. im also planning on converting it to e85. because ive alredy got the fuel system.

They can be done under the bed floor.

does your truck have a wood floor or steel?

Hi Bud, Get the fuel out of the cab and get some speakers behind the seat, If you think gasoline smells wait till you smell E85...
