yep it would. it would just take alot of work to get it in there Id imagine. There was a truck in one of the magazines that had it done.

I don't think our cabs are the right shape to run a dash like that. Newer cabs are longer and have the windshield angled back a lot more, whereas our trucks have a shorter cab with less windshield angle.
There's a guy around here with a Duramax swap that put the newer gauge cluster into the original dash. It looked really slick but he basically made a new gauge bezel from scratch, looked like a lot of work. I believe he was also fitting the A/C system and controls from the newer truck as well.

Absolutely it can be done. It just depends on your ability, or the ability of whomever you choose to install it.
