Original Blazer Cb Antenna!

I know this one is gonna be tough to find but ill give it a try. Anyone have a cb antenna that were installed in the back driver's side of some 1st generation Blazers? It was that big long one with the thick flexible spring on the bottom. If by any chance someone has it and don't want it, let me know. Thanks!

Re: Original Blazer Cb Antenna!

I've got the big spring part that bolts to the side of the truck. I think the antenna is broken off it. Let me know if you're interested. I'll dig it out and take a photo.

I had one at one time, I'll take a look. I don't know about the "original" part, but they were old school!

Re: Original Blazer Cb Antenna!

Luis_gz06 ... You might try some of the CB forums and ask. Also do you have a GM CB to match? If not I know I have a few in storage...someplace.

I will check the forum out. Just want the antenna for now. I like the look of it on the back. Plus, it came original in my Blazer, so just wanting to make it look original too. Anyway, if you do find the GM cb's, how much for it? Thanks!

I will put you down as interested. 71blksuper4x4 has first dibs but I have three (I think) used GM CB's and one NOS. One has the fake wood and the others are black faced. Discusions has been that the fake wood face CB was for 71-72 model years but I'm thinking that what ever the dealer had in stock is what they sold. But I will be selling these. These have been selling on ebay off and on and the selling price runs about $150-175. My asking price will be about $100.

I call that a keeper...Radio shack should have the mounting bracket. How do you know it has never been peaked or tune? I assume you are the original owner? Just curious???
