Vintage Air - no heat
This week the truck is not blowing "warm air" like it always has.
In the engine compartment, the hose going from the engine manifold into the cab, with the valve, feels warm on both sides of the valve but the return hose, coming out of the cab to the water pump is not. Any ideas/solutions? Last edited by Mondo; 02-05-2010 at 08:18 PM. |

Re: Vintage Air - no heat
Either the valve is not open or the heater core is plugged. try removing the return hose and see if the coolant flows out of the heater core.

Re: Vintage Air - no heat
there was a very similar post within the last few weeks. You may also want to check and make sure all of the cables are actually moving the various linkages when the heater controls are moved. I have seen them come unhooked at the heater box.
