Question Truck box cover

Looking for some help. Any one here built their own truck box cover that fits inside the panels. Pics or ideas would be great.

Re: Truck box cover

I saw one once here in town that a father and son built. They used 2"x2" aluminum angle for the front and sides that sat on the box. They bolted these to the top of the box rails and front bed. They attatched a hinge to the front part. They used 1/2"x1/2" steel tubing and made the top frame. Then they used 1/2" smooth rod for braces every 2' front to back, and had one going straight down the middle. The bowed up the supports in the center to allow to keep the cover tight and to allow for drainage. They then covered it with heavy duty black vinyl. They installed lift/assist shocks from a regular pick up lid, and used hardware from an old topper toor and made latches fo the lid. All in all it looked very nice. Sorry I don't have pics of it. This was a LWB sierra grande as well.
