cost of my truck
when I got my truck in 73 it cost me 4650.00 I rember that well I had been married for 3 years and a new baby just 1 we did not have any credit any the only guy that would loan us the money and the amount we could pay was one of those hirisk places it took me 7 long years to pay it off maybe thats why I still own it not realy loved the truck then and still do popdad

sweet! thats a good story. my buddy has a 68 that his dad bought new, and when his dad passed in '70 he got it and has kept it every since

You making me feel bad.... I sold the truck my dad had bought new in '75 just about 6 months ago.. Oh well.....

lol cool story popdad
my 76 was taken in as trade for partial payment for a job i did.. i was using it as a trash hauler from job sites cause it is shot when my son found it and fell in love with it. well its been pulled from duty at my company although its still registered and insured, and my son and i are gathering up parts for it to do a total frame off and when he gets his permit ( assuming he pulls his head out of his ass cause he is old enough now, but dad wont let him) that will basically be his daily driver once we get started on the actual work, ill start posting pics and progress pics
