Scored Some Seats

What do you think guys, I pulled these out of a 2002 Silverado that had just come in to a local salvage yard. I got a pretty good deal since they let me pull them out myself. I already have the new holes drilled and filled in the old holes, but I haven't mounted them in yet. Since the cab is empty I am going to see if I can find some carpet. It was hard on the old back though.

You're right about the tank, already planned on relocating even before I had the seats. I had the seats in temporarily and they looked good. It sure is nice to work under the dash with no seat in

Re: Scored Some Seats

Make sure you put some support in the bottom of the floor pans so if you get into an accident the seat bolts don't rip through the floor pan.

Nice seats. What did you fill the old holes with? I still have the old holes in mine and wasn't sure what to do about them.

Since I had to drill new holes. I just got shorter bolts and put them back in the old holes with some thread sealer. They wont be visible if you are putting new carpet in.

It all depends how far back you need them to go. I still have the old tank. If I get a chance I'll just throw it back in with one seat and take a pic.
