just a thought with the summer coming up soon. get a little group of people with 67-72s. it would be cool to meet some people and check out their trucks. anyone else want to do this?

Who me?
June 8th is the all GM show at the fairgrounds. I plan to be there. It gets better every year. As far as my place goes I am open to the idea. Early in the year or late fall are the best times in my neighborhood(rural Montrose, south of Buffalo MN). For some reason I have a problem with the MN State Bird during the summer. They will bleed you dry in a matter of minutes. Down-right unpleasent.

The All GM show would be a great place to meet. Also, the Car Craft Summer Nationals is fun to check out. I saw no less than 40 67-72s there last year and I don't think it will be any less this summer. Da-burb's place would be good but like he said, spring or fall. Hate them damn mosquitoes!

I've never had my 69 more than ten miles from home yet !! Would have to try stretching her legs a little at a time , before Montrose, but it might be possible. I would definately be interested in meeting up at the All GM show...never gone before because it was too depressing to see all those nice vehicles, and not have anything to work on myself. I can be damn strong willed, but I have no willpower to resist classic Chevs !!

I'm from Northern Ia. and would be interested. I would have to drive my Ford like another member said. My C-10 has a long way to go before roadable.

If you'll let a "73" come I would love to make it and meet some of you....but the truck is in about 7,368,921 pieces right now!
Car Craft would be a cool place to meet...I go every year (and have an awesome burnout competition video with the truck in it!), otherwise anyplace is cool with me. I live in Anoka County (Coon Rapids), basically next door to Alex. -Jeff |

Anywhere, Anytime!
That is if my wife lets me!
I will be there, but I vote against Da-Burb's place. He might want me to take home more than I drop off this time! Chris H.

I have June 8th marked on the calendar for the All GM Show...fall at da-burbs could work. See if you can pin him down Bruce...oh and I thought I would see you at Randy's , but he had to get back to work, and I had to get to Joe's....so he could talk me into buying all his stuff !!! He finally quit asking if I " needed one of these? " when the pickup wouldn't hold anymore !

Class of 69' - I would of seen you there except i got a late start when my wife, both dogs and I hop in the truck to leave and i turn the key and nothin! Ended up being the damn battery cable corroded right off at the starter solenoid (minn. salt). So 4 hrs later we were off and running. She (wife) called it a P.O.S., but hauled her butt 1500 miles with no other problems. You will have to clue me in about Joe's. Randy says he's out of control......

Hey !! Even Joe will admit that !! Just read the stuff listed in his signature line ! It's like a candy store of classic trucks...only bad part is he keeps the best for himself. He's got two garages built into his house, and another one out back. can park like 10 trucks inside. And all this on a quarter acre lot !! Joe's a good guy tho, he will share when you ask enough times. It's really something to see so many of our era trucks on the street down there. Sorry to hear about the starter debacle.

The all GM Show works for me! Daburb lives 3 miles from me and I can attest to the mosquito infestation. If we had 20 old chevys idling in his yard, however, we'd smoke 'em out!
