Wanted: Rockwell T-221 transfer case for '64 4x4

I posted this in the wanted board, but figured I might get lucky here too. Need a T-221 divorced transfer case please. Anyone got one? Thanks.

My buddy Chris redid his burb with all new stuff. He has a T-221 with 70k original miles in really good shape.

Call Chris at Sisters Auto parts (He owns the place) at (541) 549 8888. and make him an offer.

Good Luck

My buddy finally found a t-case for his '66. Same case as yours. He settled for a married case and swapped the output shaft from his old case to get it to work. I posted here a for him a couple of times but they are apparently very hard to find. You should give Scrub's friend a call. By the way, my buddy bought his case at the 4x4 swap meet in Puyallup for $50. He bought a rebuild kit and frankenstined the two together. I think the kit was around $200.

thats weird that he couldn't find a divorced 221...didn't they use the divorced unit from 60-68, and then the married one just in 69?

there was one in a pick-n-pull yard in fairfield,ca. awhile back. it was in a 64-66 4x4 but not sure if it's still there. it would be quite a drive for you, about 7 hours, but i can check for you next time i go there if you want.

My buddy Chris said no one had called.

I wanted to make sure I didn't confuse anyone. He doesn't want to sell his burb, he put a 205 or something in his burb and has a Rockwell T-221 for sale. I think he will take 200 bucks, which is a pretty good price for a 70k mile t-case.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I will call him. I did find one though from my buddy that I sold my old '63 GMC 4x4 to. He gave it to me because he is replacing all his running gear...actually he is taking the body and placing it on a shortened '76 Suburban 4x4 frame. I wouldn't mind having another spare though, as these cases weren't known for their durability!! Smallish bearings, and you cannot find hardparts for any longer!!
