PPE hands down. Unless you want to tune yourself with efi live.

Re: duramax programmer

Not under warrenty. I had a hypertec programmer on my 01 dodge diesel and made a world of difference on power and fuel milage. I think they are worth $500 or so if they increase mpg by at least 2to3 mpg... I think i'll check out the ppe stuff. How much is the efi live?

I got mine for $730 through Blackbear Performance
Although that was discounted when I got it.

Think it is about $800 now

Re: duramax programmer

Again EFI live hands down, but for a simple programmer anyone can use its impossible to beat PPE.

Re: duramax programmer

EFI Live hands down.... especially with the new DSP5 switch that is now available for custom tunes that are adjustable on the fly. I'm running SuperChips right now and I like it a lot, but you just can't compete with EFI Live!

Re: duramax programmer

EFI live, then PPE, and then maybe an edge if you are on a tight budget and find a used one. They have been selling cheap lately.

Re: duramax programmer

Don't buy a hypertech. I had one and swapped to a diablo Predator. The hypertech wide open was like the towing tune on the diablo.
