Front Tow Hooks Location/Mounting ?

I have seen many pictures of 67-72 Trucks,Blazers,Jimmys,Suburbans
with front tow hooks on them but does anyone have any instructions
or pictures from Chevrolet/GMC that shows the correct position they should
be mounted in ? or if no pictures explain how they mount ? hook upward ? downward ?

Re: Front Tow Hooks Location/Mounting ?

They mount pointing straight down just behind the front bumper.
The holes in my blazer were already in the frame horns from the factory. I don't have a pic but there were a few good ones on here a while back when the subject came up.
