I think he's been watching too many auctions on TV. For that price you think he could clean it up atleast. He will never sell it at that price.

Historically...From what I have been seeing on ebay when they do show up...the GM CB's go from about $140-175. Although since the economy has takin a dip...these prices may have dropped.
Also note...these were dealer options so you might get a CB with a black or fake wood front. Some think that the wood face CB's were for the 71-71 model years but from what I have seen...what ever the dealers had in stock is what they sold. This being said...who knows for sure?

Now you know the rest of the story.

Thanks 70cst, I am with you on the price, I have seen them go for $100-$200on ebay. I guess this guy did not get the memo about the lousy economy and people tight with their money Take care.

Re: Talking aboout GM CB Radios?

I know its not the same thing, but I had a gm factory am-fm cb unit.I got tired of looking at it on the shelf in the shed,so a couple of weeks ago I threw it in the dumpster at work. They do turn up on ebay occasionaly.I get tired of dealing with the whiners who think they are getting a brand new item, even though it is accurately described.Im not whining, just venting.

If that radio was working and in good shape...that would have been worth selling. JMHO
