Wow Insurance is finally on my side

I got a quote today for $110 a year for a pleasure vehicle.
I tried antique for a few years but they have to be OEM machines.
Now they have or I just discovered it pleasure insurance.

Sweet.Day! 10 years with no insurance I am lucky to still have the truck.

This summer will be stress free running! wooot

Re: Wow Insurance is finally on my side

What kind of coverage is that for?

I just put liability, uninsured/underinsured/comp/collision/towing on mine and it came to 61 a month, almost as much as my 2007 Chrysler (don't gimme no grief, it's a funny story, not an intentional mopar purchase)

Re: Wow Insurance is finally on my side

Blair: the motorcycle quote, with liability only is $887/yr. The insurance for 1967 Chev, based on the appraised value of $8000 would be $108/yr which gives you $2 million liability, Collision, Comprehensive.
Thanks
Amy Dale

Thank you for the reply Amy,

I am all for the 1967 insurance. Can we make the start date May 1st 2010 or should I email you back then?

The bike I am still shopping for.

What would a 2003 Yamaha fzr 600cc be a year?

Thanks for your help

Blair: I am not sure if you are really goning to want to know the premium for the 2003 as the bike is a sports bike and subject to a 300% sports bike surcharge if it is newer then 1994. So the premium for a year for the 2003, with full coverage is ...are you sitting down (LOL)...it is $4764.
Amy Dale

Thank you for that....that ends my search. I will stick with the 1993 bike maybe next year.

But the truck I take to car shows on the weekend so need very basic insurance.

the price that I gave you for the truck is full coverage for the whole year, so if you want to take your truck out on a nice day in the winter or to the golf course in the summer then you can do that. The only thing that they will not allow is that you use the car as a regular everyday car to drive back and forth to work and stuff like that.

That will work great. It is a garage queen. Spends most of the time in the hanger.

Sunday mornings is about all I get. Jerry Louagie just insured my daily driver for me.

Cheers,

Blair

I will set it up effective May1/10. I will just have to wait for the appraisal as the premium is based on the appraised value and if the $8000 doesn't include taxes then I will have to increase the value to include the taxes.
thanks

A Garage queen, that is funny, i have never heard that before. I am going to have to use that. My father-in-law has old cars so I know the special treatment that those vehicles get.

HOLY CRAP! Two thoughts:

1. Damn sure sticking with my '59 HD

2. Who is this agent working for and might they be interested in insuring other 67-72 trucks?
