I did that once too, when I had my 72GMC, was on my way in northern part of Canada to go hunting. It was a single lane road(not really just very narrow two lanes) and of course found a patch of ice that was hidden by the snow. No damage to the truck, and was actually able to drive out of the ditch that I ended up in. I wish I had taken some pictures of it.
