Re: project: CHAIN REACTION

I gotcha. So it will be blocked and painted at the same time as the cab. Gonna sneak a/c up under there? You're in AZ, air is a must-right? Mine came from AZ, which is probably why it has weird options like dual tanks with a 250 6 cyl. and air.

I have a complete set of Autometer ultralites that I was going to run in my s10 but never did. I bought the $200 electronic 120 mph speedo cause starting in 89 s10s did away with cable speedometers. My 81 Sierra Grande has a cable, and I saw a thread here a couple days ago that had info about an autometer part that will adapt an elect. speedo to a regular speedo cable.

I don't know if this will help you out, but it provided me with some insight to a possible solution. I've also seen a Painless harness that rigs all the autometer gauges together and installs to the factory GM harness with minimal pain.

I hope this stuff helps you out. It definitely provided me with some insight into doing it without butchering the harness.

well I was never happy with the paint job that it had when I took it too SEMA. So I put the truck in storage for a few months and finally decide to have it resprayed. It has taken the paint a few trys to get the effect we wanted with the graffics but I think we finally have something we are both happy with. Here is a teaser shot from 2/12/2010
