lowering blocks?

if i have a c10 heavy half, and i installed a flip kit and drop shackles and c-notch, i want 1-3 inches more of drop in the rear, but i dont want the get the hangers, will lowering blocks work with the flip kit right? the flip kit is a mcgaughys btw if that helps, thanks

you can use the blocks but I would just remove some leafs springs
I had a beltec flip, 2" drop shackles, and 3 leafs out of 8 reaming
there was less than a inch of travel with the c-notch, the pumpkin hit the bed floor, the drop shocks were maxed out and the drive shaft rubbed on a cross member
