Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
Wow, and here I thought weight was the only difference between bowling balls...

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
Haha, same here! You learn a little bit of everything off of this website. So, when I go to the bowling lanes and use on of the balls they already have, which ones should I look for (aka which ones are usually the best) Any little advantage over my friends would help my crappy game lol.

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
Well the balls they keep on the racks at most lanes are just plastic balls, which don't do anything special. The best thing you can do is try to find one that fits your hand comfortably, and you can comfortably hold by your side without discomfort, or trying to bias your weight to the opposite side to hold the ball up. If you buy your own ball, and have it fitted to your hand, you will notice a difference. Realistically just using the same ball every time you go bowling, and a ball that fits your hand properly (and even better, one drilled fingertip), will improve your game.

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
Well last Friday he said he was ready and was going to bring it in this week. I am keeping space available, but I have not heard from him. Maybe next week.
In other news, I got that ball I wanted.

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
Unfortunately no. I talked to him again yesterday. It sounds like he had money saved for the parts, and then spent it. But he now says he has enough money again, and wants to drop it off but can't because it's not insured. So I offered to pick it up today or any time this week with my trailer. He said okay as long as he washes it first. So I am waiting on him to wash it and call me so I can go get it.

I'm supposed to be on my way to pick it up right now, just need to go get the trailer and find out where it is stored.

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
So I finally got to pick it up. Dropped it off in front of the shop, will probably start disassembling tomorrow.

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
Twisted, you are on s10forum right? If so, surprised I haven't seen this linked on there. Pretty cool thing you are doing man. Good luck and any progress pics? Keep up with the parts lists if you are still in process.

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
Ya I am on there, and there is a full build thread. The truck is done for now, as far as suspension work. It still needs the stereo installed, but I ran out of time for right now and had to move onto another customers project. But there is a complete build thread here in the suspension section.

Re: S10 build up for kid with Epilepsy
It's sitting in front of the shop waiting for him to either pick it up, or bring by the kick panels so I can put some stereo stuff in it. I will probably start wiring the head unit this week though since a big project is leaving.

He has it at home now, and is reportedly working on it every day after school. I will try to get pictures from him.
