Re: Camaro Steering Wheel

Interested in the wheel but have a couple of questions. 1) Is the "rubber" sticky at all, 2) in the picture the wheel looks dirty, is that it or something else? 3) Does this install on a 69-72 stock column? 4) Would you throw in the shipping to 80209? Thanks. Joel

The rubber is not sticky,I dont think this wheel has ever been used.Needs a good cleaning.I use the same style wheel on my truck.I would split the shipping with you.

Thanks John, I knew that they would all work up to around that time and some steering wheels even later. I was just helpling Joel out by saying that the Camaro wheels would work. Trevor

Re: Camaro Steering Wheel

Now that the above wheel is sold (I didn't want to hijack), I would like to ask a question about my wheel. It is very similar to the one above, but has a different texture on the wheel and a different horn cap. Anybody know what year it came out of? I have been told it originally came in a Camaro. It came in one of my trucks and matches the oem (code 523) dark blue color perfectly. The number on the back is 9761838-1 Thanks! It is NOT for sale, just looking for information thanks.

Re: Camaro Steering Wheel

I think the rope wheel came only on the "'Berlinetta" model Camaro's. Not 100% sure though.
