what gearing is this rear end?
On the back left of the rearend there are the #s D282, 12345, 67890 on the front it has GM 60 and the #s NF3896838. I think the chassis its in is a 1972. Thanks for any info.

I've never known how to get a ratio from those numbers - maybe someone else here know how. I usually pop the cover and read the numbers on the o.d. of the ring gear.

You could always count the teeth on the gears and then devide them.
