They seem like great guys to talk to. Lots of info around that place. Do you have any new pics of the truck with the new front clip yet? Didnt you say you were in the process of dropping it too? Hows that coming?

well, i havent actually decided on which engine to go with...i'm kind of between the 5.3L and the 6.0L

i have got any pics lately b/c currently we have about 25 inches on freakin snow

i havent lowered it yet b/c its "trapped" in the garage right now...soon as the weather clears, she's goin down

hows your engine swap comin?

who's adapter plates did you end up using?

I used some plates off of ebay for ~$30 bucks. They are the thicker of the two ones people are selling on there. 5/16 I believe.

i cant find anything on ebay that cheap....all of them are around $84-99

I wasn't knocking your new truck man. I was talking about the LS motor sitting in it. I think both trucks are sweet man, and your old black one was too. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.

These are the exact ones I bought. The hardware was too long but I wanted the thicker plates. They raised the engine just a little bit as well.

i actually talked to Larry today at specializedpartsplanet.com and he has a denalli LQ9 6.0L out of a 01 for $2500 that i got my eye on (320 hp)

i know man, its killing me....i want that darn motor they got there, but all i can do is wait for my bike to sell...uhhhgggg

at least i've aleady found an electric gauge assembly from a 90 burb....thats a start...slow but sure
