Electric Rear View Mirror
I just put a new rear view mirror in my 70. It had the one that is screwed to the roof but the new one is glued to the windshield. It has mape lights, compas, auto dim and outside temp. I need some ideas for running the wires from the mirror. I know I dont want to run the wires in the rubber seal of the windshield. I would like to run the wires into the roof where the old mirror was but need something to cover the hole . So anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Electric Rear View Mirror
Can you make a plastic piece with 3 holes drilled into the existing holes for the original mirror? Wouldn't be too hard. You will need some type of wire loom cover to cover the wires as it will be a hard thing to look at without something there hiding some of the wiring. Trevor

Re: Electric Rear View Mirror
The wiring will be covered with some kind of black loom, so it wont be to noticeable but the hole where it goes into the roof needs to be covered.
