Re: new chevy!!
Joe, nice looking car. He have it forever or what? It would really look sweet on a nice gray 17 18 combo, with a mild drop. But, you have to respect the original too. Getting more and more rare all the time.

I'd roll in that, as is, any day of the week.
That's sweet!

Re: new chevy!!
My first car was a '63 4 door, 194ci straight 6 , powerglide. Never should have gotten rid of it. I got 25 miles to the quart of oil and 16 miles to the gallon of gas.

Re: new chevy!!
I'm jealous!!! Very nice ride!!! I had a 64 four door with a 194 and a glide when I was in high school. The PO redid the interior and I managed to get it repainted...metallic ice blue with a white top. I bought it when I was 13 and my Mom and I would fight over who got to drive it...she's not very tall and in that car she could reach the pedals and see out of it. Every time I see another Chevy II I regret getting rid of mine. One of these days i hope to get another one.

Re: new chevy!!
Thats a generous gift. Very nice. Out of respect for dad I wouldn't mod it unless he encourages it. At least not right away. Congrats!

Re: new chevy!!
Thanks everyone, my plans are to pull the engine for a rebuild, the body is pretty good except for a small rust spot on the back near the bumber. So just sand and primer. I have all new moldings. I removed the seats today, tomorrow I will start cleaning and disassembling everything. I want to keep it a nice stock theme with a nice clean 17"wheel and mild drop, how do u guys think the factory off white paint with red interior would look???
