Someone should buy this!

I think I remember BB73 posting some pics of this truck before. Looks like it will get a new owner since there is no reserve.

That truck must be fast; it won't even sit still for the camera. I do like it though.

Where did he get those door panels? They look like they are brand new!

Looks like he has quite a few square bodies sitting there. Is that a Street Coupe sitting in the corner?

That is the way the early GMC gates were made. The "GMC" is raised in the upper left, with a emblem over the top of it. They are very hard to find nowadays.

Re: Someone should buy this!

How about the CrewCab short bed in the background on first pic and then there are about 5 more square bodies in the back ground of the lot.

Good eye on the stuff in the background guys! That is a very nice looking truck. And like said in the listing, very tastefully done.

Re: Someone should buy this!

Being a former Bostonian ...... truck looks good on the pix but the salt & the sea eat these trucks up big time in that area.

Unless it was brought in from another area ..... outside the saltbelt I'd have a hard time buying something from the area.

Good looking truck ....... but I've busted more knuckles on frozen suspension, brake & frame parts that you don't see in pix. Notice the rust on the bottom of the blury pix?

Don't be fooled ...... I lived there for 18 yrs. & survivors of this period are few & far between.

Not trying to be a buzz kill just a realist ......

Re: Someone should buy this!

It will be interesting to see if he kicks this loose....he had a blue 78 gmc street coupe up recently no reserve...listed it as sold...but no feedback shows up....I was runner up bidder on the same truck he listed previously against a 0 feedback bidder ....he had a ford lightning that was called sold at the same time to a 0 feedback bidder.
If anyone on here buys this one (or bought the street coupe) pls post.

Re: Someone should buy this!

You're probably right, Ratty. It looks like the bottoms of the doors have been filled, at least. Sure looks good, though. I don't think black w/no A/C is the right way to go in Texas, though.

Re: Someone should buy this!

That's a beautiful truck!

That steering wheel with the wood trim is a hard find.......

But most 73-76 pieces are in excellent shape.....

Re: Someone should buy this!

It amazes me that the seller isn't a memeber on this great forum. I mean he has multiple awesome squarebodies either as projects or for sale and he doesn't even know that are all on this forum drooling over his truck Lol

It was bid to 5650.00 and called sold ........and then relisted with a buy it now of 6500.00.......and then called sold again at 5500.00 with a best offer...

Will be interesting to see if the presumed new owner turns up on this site.
