Bucket Seats

Hey guys, Im looking for some ideas for seats for my truck. I know what the OEM buckets look like and thats not really what Im going for. I wanna see some sport buckets. Something with some moderate to big bolster, and a low rise back. If you post pics of your truck or someone's you know, I want to know what brand they are. Thanks for the help

Re: Bucket Seats

I've used seats from a Subaru Outback/Forester before. They're very comfortable and are almost a bolt in seat.

Re: Bucket Seats

I've always like the Scat Procar rally 1000 seats. You can get them in vinyl, leather, or cloth and in lots of colors.

check them out in a Laguna:

I like those, very clean. Don't even want to ask what they run $ though.

Re: Bucket Seats

they're not as spendy as Recaro's! You can get the vinyl seat for around $325, $375 for velour, and leather is like $650. Thats's each, plus the mounts are like $85 each.

Not cheap....but you do get an all NEW seat and hardware.

Re: Bucket Seats

I put some '06 GTO seats in mine. Couldn't be happier. I'm working on a center console so just ignore the MDF in the middle. They were pretty easy to mount up. I paid $350 for both of them out of a wrecked GTO. I will also be getting some belts here soon, just using the old lap belts for now.

The article said they were out of a Chrysler Cirrus. I don't remember what year.

Here's a few I've saved.
subaru outback in the first
02 malibu in the second
91 acura in the third
all with headrests removed

Hey Glider_6969, nice setup on the seats! I'm hoping to do something of the same, I want some late model silverado seats w/ the shoulder belts built in. How well did your setup bolt to the floor? I was hoping to find something to fit the same bolt pattern, but that may be just wishful thinking.

Thanks all for the great pics!!!

You might wanna follow my Thread at:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=366141

Although they were bought last October, I'm JUST getting around to putting them in.
I've taken the old Bench Seat Out.
Then had to deal with some Rust/Floor Pan issues.
Got that done, and now I'm waiting on the Seatbelts to put in and THEN (Finally) the seats!

Thanks. I did have to drill new holes and then I reinforced with some plates under the cab so they don't come through the floor just in case. The old holes, I just thread the old bolts back in to fill them
