Hi from Springfield, MO (currently in Afghanistan)

Howdy. I'm in the Army and am away right now, but I have several projects that I am excited about and have still been buying parts for from overseas.

I have a 1970 Custom 10 longbed that I will be sectioning the frame and adding an Air Ride level 3 suspension on. Not to mention- brake upgrades, 20in wheels, fuel tank relocation to rear blazer type, adding bucket seats, front and rear roll pans, making a custom steering wheel, putting a spin on the blue and white two-tone paint, and otherwise restoring.

My 1995 Silverado stepside 4x4 already has a 3in body lift, 2in torsion bar lift, and is running 33's on 15x10's. I am planning on some custom body work and swapping in taller leaf springs and a straight axle front end to ditch the strained IFS and get another 6in of lift. My dad bought the truck new when I was 16 and we have put about 240,000 miles on it. It's due for a new engine and some TLC to the interior, with some customization of course.

My 1989 K-5 Blazer is a Scottsdale I picked up after I got back from Iraq and was meant to be a fun "beater" truck. It has done a good job, but recently my father went to "fire it up" and literally did. It backfired into the carbeurator, caught fire under the hood and melted most of the accessories. I have my work cut out for me on that, but it's just another opportunity for improvements.

Well, I should be back from Afghanistan in August and I look forward to getting back to work on my trucks (and my Camaro) and hitting the SW Missouri auto shows!

Here's Whitey, my 1995 4x4. Since he's, well, white I entered him in TOTM for the hell of it. Apparently my father drives him som while I'm gone ad has installed a couple of the parts I ordered such as LED tail lights.

I did 2 years in Germany, 2 at Bragg, then I went to Iraq 05-06. I was working at Ft. Leonard Wood before this Afganistan deployment and I probably will go back there when I get back. I still maintain a house in Springfield but 91 miles is a long drive to work!
