JoeKan, you can do a lot better than $400 a gallon on paint. Plan and simple, don't use Dupont. If you want a Dupont brand paint, use Nason paint, which is just Duponts old formula of paint. Should be about half or a little over half of what Dupont brand runs. You can also shoot PPG and others and be fine. There is a place in Topeka that can probably shoot you a good price. I will dig around and get you the name. Trevor

Thanks Trevor. I called O'Reilys today and they quoted me at $91 per gallon for the Nason. That's doable for me. Thank you so much for all your help!

Here's mine last weekend before we pulled the front end off:



It is Chrysler Surf Blue (from a 2008 PT Cruiser paint chip) and "GM Fleet White" (a color the bodyshop had and did a little cheaper)
