Re: Anybody ever see a 63 Apache?
I'd say something has been changed on that truck over the years. I see he has a BBW cab sitting there.........

Hellfire!! And here I am stuck in Arizona... Anybody up in that area that thinks this thing might not not fall apart from rust? I'm considering rolling the dice on it....
Down here we have a 61' that's a little more pricey. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/1613280324.html |

Re: Anybody ever see a 63 Apache?
Yeah but it leaks a little and it's over 3k. I'd go 2500 and have to sleep in the dog house for a while....
Man, I was kinda hopin' people would talk it down so I would forget about it... But it is kinda' sweet. DAMN!!! |

Re: Anybody ever see a 63 Apache?
But...but it's 400 bucks. Are you guys saying you could get it for less...or that it's worth less?
On Edit: Did research until my eyes started to sting. It may be a GMC and not an Apache after all. Last edited by Aaron Burr; 02-23-2010 at 03:06 AM. |

Re: Anybody ever see a 63 Apache?
It is common for poeple that don't know alot about these trucks to refer to 62 and up as an apache.
It is a 63 c10, with a 60 hood. that paticular truck has been on craigslist a # of times last year, this is the first time they have showed more than the side pic. looks like a real good deal. btw the arizona one has a "short" long box....different looking

Re: Anybody ever see a 63 Apache?
Put me in the "don't know a lot about these trucks" column. I figured the Washington truck had a GMC cab at the least.
The Arizona rat rod looks interesting but seems a bit much for something that leaks. I've been down that road before... The $500 Apache looks good? Hmm. I think I'll drive around my neighborhood and take some pics, see what you guys think. |
