Seems like the elliptical profile of the outer ring look better behind the tire?

SWEEEEEET! I also like the idea behind the rear wheel all the way back to the back of the bed panel but that is just what I think looks best.

My buddy had a set of those tips on a Crown line. Look around at marine tips and you'll find them much cheaper.

Ride Tech 'Cool Cap' gas cap set-up = $70
local marine parts house 'deck fill' gas cap set-up = $27

Same size.
Same material (Stainless steel).
Same keyed, o-ring seal, screw in cap.
One says more than 'gas'.... just not $40 worth more!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Where can I find a set of these

Thanks ... but I was interested in the exhaust tips. From what I have been able to find this evening, they were used by Crownline boats on their LPX option - "Captain's Call - thru the hull side exhaust".

Re: Where can I find a set of these

The March issue of "Street Trucks" magazine has an article on this truck on pages 134 - 136. It is titled "Back in Black...A Glamorous Life for This Retired Farm Truck". According to the article, the builder (Mike Dillion from Moorsville, NC) spent $165,000 and 13 months to turn an old farm truck in to what is arguably the baddest 1965 Chevy pickup on the planet. It has a GM Performance Ram Jet 502, Tremec TKO five-speed, Ford 9" rear, Jim Meyer racing chassis, 20 X 9 and 22 X 12 Foose wheels and more!!!! I love this truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently this has become a trend. There's a reason they exit in front of the axle. If they truck has a 4-link and especially if it's bagged with a 4 link, it's very hard to run the exhaust over the axle. There is just not enough room to make it work.

Hey I think they look cool but at almost $700 a piece some people have more money than good sense, maybe if I win the lottery or something....Vernski
