'86 Blazer 305-H problems Please Help!

I have a '86 K5 Blazer. supposedly, that was the year that they experimented with emissions control. i have a box above my glovebox that seems to be like an ECU, but it's supposed to be "emissions Control" first, i have heard that you can bypass this box by crossing wires, but i dont know which ones to cross. second, i would like to find out a gm part number or somewhere where i can buy a new one. any info you may have on this control box would e extremely appreciated and helpful. Thank You

Read this, that box should be the controller for the ESC.

Is the ESC sensor located on the right side (pass)? I busted a sensor when I pulled my 305 with bad compression and replaced with Autozone rebuilt. I checked on this particular sensor and they wanted about 100 bucks for it. They told me it had something to do with the Cam and it would kill the engine if the cam went bad.

Maybe this is why I hear a low clack at low rpm's in 2nd and 3rd gear on slight incline/hill.
