1972 Factory Heater, A/C system

I have my factory AC system out of my 72 truck.
I am going to be going to an aftermarket AC system to clean the engine bay up a bit. I pulled everything off today to get ready to clean up things a bit. includes all brackets for compressor and everything related to the system.

$400 SHIPPED

Re: 1972 Factory Heater, A/C system

Does it include everything under the dash, too? How about the condensor or compressor?

Re: 1972 Factory Heater, A/C system

I have seen a couple of guys recently who are taking out factory A/C systems and replacing them with Vintage Air or Classic Air systems. Am I missing something here? I decided to go with a factory system because it uses outside air, even though it's a lot more work. As far as I can see, all the aftermarket systems only cool recirculated inside air, and to me outside air is important.

Re: 1972 Factory Heater, A/C system

It does get used in our hot temps of 70 degrees or so

Heater is used every night as are lows are 30 degrees.!!!!

I too am going with a vintage air, old air etc system. I have not completely decided on which system yet but I am looking for a nice clean engine bay, very clean installed set up

A factory A/C system also cools recirculated air, if it is connected properly. It only uses outside air for the heater.
