How do you remove a steering column from a C30 pickup.

Is it that much different than a C10? I thought you just unbolt it at the plate just inside the firewall and unbolt at the joint near the steering gearbox and pull the whole assembly out thru the cab? Hopefully someone with experience in this will chime in soon. Good luck.
