vertical/horizontal fender reflector

I hate to sound like a total square body moron, but what year did the front fender reflectors go from vertical to horizontal?

1981 was first year for horizontal marker lights.

We have some of the marker lights for the earlier years. They are mistakes
They came in with red lenses instead of amber

DUH

Yes. I looked again. they just came in the wrong boxes.
I did not thing about the Duallys. Thats exactly what they are. And I thought I knew auto parts
