tahoe seats

I am thinking about getting a set of buckets out of a 97 Tahoe. They are grey and should look good in my blue 82 with black interior. They want 175 for the pair. I think I can get them down a little...

Has anyone tried to use these type of seats? Should fit I would think, just need to make some brackets.

Any thoughts?

you think buy em?

I went and looked at them. They look nice and clean (no tears, holes, stains) I think a good scrubbing and some TLC they should look good as new.

Only thing is, I have never attempted to do something like this before, and I am not sure they are going to fit right. I have a 4x4 and I am not sure how the fit will be.

Has anyone ever done a swap like this? I will need some ideas.

I dont know how much the seats changed from 97 to 01 but heres a thread in the 67-72 parts board:

You may want to contact ccsrcr for some information.
I guess they are pretty close and making brackets for them isnt hard.
