My Radio Delete Plate

I thought I would show you my little twist on a radio delete plate I did, Its been repainted with a silver trim and a light grey on the inside but due to an older camera phone the color quality isint the best. I found the center piece in my grampas garage a few years back, it was originally white, I have no idea what its from but he thinks he seems to remember it was a radio delete plate from his 55 chevy truck. any of you guys recognize that chevy emblem piece?
I was going to use this in my truck and I still might but I ran across a radio with the 67 deluxe knobs on it for 20 bucks!! So it matches my knobs perfect so now Im torn, whaddya think?
