Should I remove my AIR pump??
It's not hooked into anything anymore. It's just being ran off the belt (along with the alternator) and the only thing it's doing is pumping air into the engine bay...which might not be a BAD thing, cuz the air isn't hot! But I think the bearings are shot in it, so should I remove it, just to clean up the engine compartment a little more?

If you dont have to go to emissions (sniffer or visual) then I say get rid of it too!
I wish I could do the same.

Toss it.
What tiny little bit you might gain from running it up into the cold air tube would be lost anyways by trying to turn the pump. Get rid of a tiny bit of weight and a tiny bit of drag on the engine. May not seem like much, but if you are going balls to the wall racing, every little bit counts.
