Re: lowered trucks with airdams
I like your truck. What size is your air dam?

Re: lowered trucks with airdams
I want a better pic to see how tall it is under the truck. I think I am about as low as you, if not even a little lower. Seem like a good quality part? How flexible is it? I ask this after having been around VW's before and seeing some parts similar to this that were too rigid and would crack and shatter after a couple bumps.

Re: lowered trucks with airdams
I drove my truck around the street and the air dam scrapes leaving and entering my drive way and scrapes the street, so its going to scrape every where I go

Re: lowered trucks with airdams
The one thing about a lowered truck and a air damn is when you want to jack the truck up front the center crossmember. It becomes impossible to do so.
Anyone know what bumber TV Blazer has? I'm assuming he has the stock airdam just all glossed up.

Re: lowered trucks with airdams
thanks, and before I had the air dam the only way I was able to lift up my truck from the front cross member was to drive it up on some 4x4 ramps, it has a little flex

Re: lowered trucks with airdams
Thats cool but I am wondering how it would look on the truck. I think the aluminum would get mangled where the plastic airdam would flex. I had something similar on one of my cars back in my rice-rocket days. It had a couple inches of ground clearance at least and it still got pretty banged up now and then.
...ah, memories. That thing was all go, no show. No interior, no dash, no power steering. ...not much safety equipment or anything else for that matter. ![]()
