I just installed these buckets in my c10. They are out of a 2002 Bonneville (6 way - heated). They are very comfortable but a little tight because they are so thick. I "slipped" the column forward 1.5 inches - a tilt wheel would be helpful. I'm 5'9" and weight 210. If I were much larger, they would be too tight. I think that the seats out of a truck look very similar but are a little thinner and would probably fit better. The console is out of a Chevy truck.

I might have to upgrade. I have 97 Bonneville seats in mine. Wrong color, tan, I need gray. And I might pull out my home made console for one like yours. Where did you get it? I really need soemthing to go around the Lokar shifter. And to cover up the Computer for the LT1.

I made new brackets. My goal was to drill as few holes as possible in the floor yet securely attach the seats. I used 2'' by 1/8'' mild steel flat stock. I used the two original c10 mounting holes and had to drill one additional hole and floor reinforcement per piece (total of four). Since the seats had integrated seat belts I ran a flat strap back to the original c10 seat belt bolts for additional security. I didn't want to have me and the seat going through the windshield!

The console is out of a chevy pickup, I'm not sure of the year - I think its 90 ish. I'm sure someone will recognize what year it is. It was tan and I dyed it with vinyl coating. I also sprayed the panels I made to cover the seat rails (sheet metal) on the bottom of the side of the seats with the same stuff. Got it a O Rileys Auto parts. I had also dyed my stock seat black (it was dark blue) a couple of years ago and it was holding up well.

No. Moving the tank would give 0 extra space for the seats as they are against the back of the cab now.
