I'm still working on mine. Been slow between weather and school. The worst part for me is body work, I decided to shave the door while it was apart and now finishing up the bodywork on the door and door jams.
The kit I bought was from sd and cost around $400.
I would be interested in who has had accidental opening. I know of 2 of my friends that have had that but they said the kit they used was cheap and the latches failed.they warned me not to get them but they said the kit from sd looked alot stronger and better than what they used. I guess you get what you pay for.

Check out this guys thread, not sure which hinges he used but has some pictures of the hinges and looks to do really good work. I'll try to post some of mine tomorrow but I am also trying to get mine back together tomorrow.I'm sure he will chime in soon but here is his build thread.

i have thought about using door hinges out of a 70-71-72 ford f100. because they go into the cab and i think it would be different and cheaper (junk yard)
