My son has a 1997 c1500 chevy, he would prefer a 4x4 but this truck is in such great shape we were thinking about a prerunner kit for it. Does anyone know of a good source for parts (suspension lift, flared fenders, etc) and has anyone done this to their rig?
Thanks, Colby. |

Re: 1997 Prerunner
glassworks makes the bedsides and fenders.
you can go the cheap way and get on ebay and get a 2wd lift standard travel or a cst long travel, theres other companys out there but that can get you started. if its just for looks than you can make a nice one on a budget, but if you wanna take it to the dirt and really play than it gets pretty $$$$ i was in the middle of building one, but some family things happend and had to sell the truck. maybe one of these days i can start on another one. it was goin to be mostly for looks, but be able to take it to the dirt and have fun.
