20 inch wheels

I have done some searching with no luck. Not sure if im searching right becouse you would think id find these answers. I have a 78 swb with a 5/7/drop, i have 20s and im wondering on what tire to get. I went to discount tire and they said a 275/45/20 would work great all the way around. he quoted me a price of 629.00 out the door for goodyear eagle gt2. Does this sound like a good price and the right size. thanks steve ( oh the backspace is what ever comes off the shelf with the wheel )

Re: 20 inch wheels

Mine currently has

20x8 in front with 255/40r20

20x10 in rear with 295/40r20

275/45r20 will rub like hell in the front with that amount of drop.

Re: 20 inch wheels

I'm lookin at a set of 275/45/20's myself but mine's only got 3" drop spindles and i think that would still rub cause my 275/60/15's rub the inner fender as is and they are shorter by a little over an inch, so I'll probably have to get something smaller.
