Pictures wanted: looking for Flame red, red and orange Blazers/Jimmy's

My brother in law has narrowed his color down to red/orange and the painter say's he needs to chose. Can you please list any pictures you have of the following Blazers/Jimmys and please list out the exact color in your response thread?

GMC
Flame Red code 513
Orange code 516

Chevy
Red code 514
Hugger Orange code 524

I am under the impression the paint charts list Chey or GMC only?

Anyway, please post some pics!

Hey John, here's my 72 k5 in 514/Red, the dash picture shows that it's more of an orange than red though.

Mark and Mel,

Thanks. Very helpful. I like the 514 chevy red and the hugger orange. I need to get some pictures and start a build thread.

We are going with the Chevy red 514. Hopefully, it will be painted this month and assembly will start!

Well, then again it depends on what you are going to use it for.. Is this going to be an all around 4x4 that you will climb rocks and obstacles with and it will get scratched up here and there.. or is it going to be street driven and show truck looking..? If it's a 4 wheeler then any of the pics and colors so far will be fine and more importantly economical...

Myself I am working on a special orange color and it's somewhere between the two pics attached.. One pic is a member on here and his color was Sunburst Orange Met. (hope he does not mind sharing his pic - but it's NICE) and another I like was the last year's Corvette color called Atomic Orange... Again, these are very costly and will run about $150 to 250.00 per quart.. plus you will have to do alot of block sanding and then wet sanding, etc, then buy several quarts of Clear which is also very expensive.. But the look will be AWESOME.. You get what you pay for when it comes to paint so be careful and do your research with different paint shops.. Here in CA, we are now severely regulated to the point where you can only use water-based paints.. Anything else and you have to go out of state...

John, you can come by and see mine anytime. I don't think its the color you're looking for. It is listed as option code on the glove box is 152410, Red-Orange.
