radiator hose prob. now

just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem, i put an alan grove mid mount alt. bracket on my engine last month now the stock lower radiator hose wont fit. there is not enough room between the frame rail and the alt. for the hose to squeeze through, i have been trying to match up other hoses from the ap house w/ no luck so far.

Re: radiator hose prob. now

Not sure if it is blocking the same spot, but when I did my serpentine setup I had a similar problem. I got a lower hose for a (around) 1985-1987 chevy 1/2 ton with the 350. It has a S like shape to it and curves over the frame rail.

It will seem like it won't fit but once its in it will. I have a thread about it somewhere, I will try to track it down. Also it has two different size ID ends on it, one for the rad and the pump.
