A funny story

This all started last week as we were putting the final touches on the motor of our project.
We got to the AC part of this project and were missing some brackets.

I spent a whole day and 30 bucks in gas hitting all the junk yards trying to find the brackets I needed. I finally gave up and pmed one of the members here (Thanks LIVRAT!) asking for help. He was a better e bay searcher and was able to give me a link or 2 to a set or 2 of brackets.

I ended up buying a complete set for the one front bracket I needed but that's not the point.

After I paypaled them, the seller and I realized we were less than 8 miles apart! Needless to say, he ended up giving me back my shipping money. hahahahah!

A pic of the progress or maybe 2 or 3.

Re: A funny story

Once i bought a Mt.Dew clock on Ebay. I had wanted this certain kind for many years. I found one, and Ohio was listed as the location.

I thought SWEET i will save money on shipping.

Right after the auction ended the guy emailed me......he lived across town from me. And i already knew him. He owned the local Dairy Queen.

Went right over and got it. Crazy.
