A buddies truck.

This is a truck I have been helping a buddy do. I'm trying to talk him in to joining here, but he's not much of an online guy. He's pretty good a making things fit and work when it comes to these kind of trucks. I just wanted to share some of his work. I told him he needs to take more pics, he's just to modest of his work. The truck is a 67 chev, has a 327 motor and is now a 4x4, I think the frame that was blasted and painted, he used is out of an old Burb. My truck,a 68 GMC which I have posted here before I actually bought from him and his dad who was the second owner of it, anyway her is a pic of his. ( yes, I did tell him I was going to show off his truck )

Did he paint the truck himself? Looks great.

Re: A buddies truck.

I don't thinks he has decided on wheels and tires yet.

We did some more work today on it. Got his headers in. We had to modify the one for the passenger side because of the 4x4 drive shaft,

We also started on putting in the bed. The metal strips are stainless and mounted with "t" bolts from under neither. Makes it look real clean.

In the earlier post I had said he has a 327 in it, I should have said that is what he is going to put in it, currently it has a sb 400 4bbl.
He has the 327 in hidding, it has an original 37000 miles on it. That's why the motor is in hidding.
He also added A/C to this motor.

He had a custom stainless gas tank made to mount up in that area, he had clearance issues so he had to cut a bit of the brace out.

Didn't catch this earlier, blinded by the purty paint work, I guess.
