Big block intake w/ 3 dueces

Hey , I haven't officially started getting parts for my build yet, the more I search this site, the more my mind changes. I have my eye on this BB intake which got me pointed in yet another direction. What's it worth? Is it more trouble than expected? Would I have all kinds of trouble making it work in a SWB 4x4 4 speed? Opinions wanted, Thanks!

Well it's definitely more trouble than a 4bbl setup but the bigger question is, what's in your engine? A 3 deuce setup isn't like a 4bbl with vacum secondaries. How much fuel can your engine handle? Your mileage will definitely suck.

Just the intake alone or are the carbs included? Is it aluminum or cast iron? And what brand?

To be honest with you, I've never come across one for a big block engine before. I know that the small block manifolds are 250 and up.

Re: Big block intake w/ 3 dueces

Yup after doing a little research I find that the L88 came with a tri-power option labeled L-71.

The L88 is a 427 ci big block

I would guess that a 3 deuce intake for a big block would be worth considerably more than the small block manifolds. Summit doesn't even offer one.

i would jump on that one cause theres a chance that its off a vette and people are crazy about their vette stuff! it would be sweet to run it on your truck but im guessing that you could turn decent money on it!
