If you have a question about your OBDI (88-95) or OBDII (96-up) vehicle, PLEASE be sure to include the year of your truck, the engine that is in it, the transmission, whether it is 2WD or 4WD, and any other info that may be specific to your own questions/situation. If you have a "CHECK ENGINE" or "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light AND you know the codes that are being stored, include them in your post.
There are issues in which this information will be vital in providing you with the help you want. Having to guess is detrimental to the problem-solving process and will only result in you not getting the answers you need or the help you'd like to have. There are people on here who are extremely knowledgeable, but their ESP powers are extremely limited and may even be non-existant. For the 1988-1998 trucks, there are more-than-subtle differences that were incorporated as running and/or yearly changes. Unless you provide that information, your expectations of the help you need will not be met. Thanks for your cooperation.
