fake or real?

Now that I have your attention...are these legit, or are they mis-advertised?

I have never seen these before.

Jeff, I believe they are legit. I've seen them before, but I can't remember where. It was in one of our style trucks too.

Where's Captkaos or KIILew, they'd know for sure I bet.

...........YES, there legit, or at least the ones I have look the same as those. They came on my 78 Black with red interior and I think there in the garage in the speaker box that the upgrade speakers came in. I have had the truck since 1980 and I bought it from the neighbor's family when she died, and I know she didn't them put in, they came with it.

I think they are legit. Just finish repainting my kickpanels from tan to black. I saw the outline of those speakers and those of round ones faintly embedded in the kickpanels. Probably for location to cut out. I believe those to be a dealer installed option.

These are legit. My 1980 has them, and here is picture from the 1980 brochure. These were not mounted in the kick panels, they were on the door panels.

Strange they're on a lower trim level than a Silverado. That looks like the same trim level mine has other than the speakers.
