Re: project lownslowc-10
after removing the motor i decided to go a bit further and removed the fenders which turned into the bed....which inevitably turned into four more bolts for the cab.....had to do it!dad said "went this far no sense in turning around now."

Re: project lownslowc-10
after what semmed like days of sandblasting the frame and all suspension components were primed and painted.Frame is painted Swift Red a crossfire color.the color is really nice and will give the truck an awesome look when i bring it to shows. The rear end and other various black componets are coach black.when working with limited facilities i had to make due with what i had so a "redneck paintbooth" did the trick.paint came out amzing.you would never be able to tell it was sprayed outdoors with a harbor freight throw away gun

Re: project lownslowc-10
thanks!yeah im not entirley sure yet but i was thinking charcoal grey with black ss stripes.i shaved all of the molding holes and just finished shaving the stake pockets..about a month ago i bought a cowl induction hood.when the time comes im going to put some nice rims on it.thats the vision i have always had since i bought the truck so i think im gonna stick with that unless i find another concept that i really like

Welcome to the boards kid. Very nice start. Sure helps to have a solid truck to start with. I wish I could have started when I was your age.
