Re: What did you get done 3/14/10 Pi day/ st pattys day edition

Congrats on the twins! I'm still waiting for mine, he's on backorder for another month. As far as this weekend I finally started putting my interior back together and making the cutouts for the window and lock switches on the lmc repop door panels. Installed the Hids on my bumperlights. Installed a brand new holley 750cfm Ultra Double Pumper on my truck too my old street avenger was only a 670 and it wasnt cutting it. today i went to the track to watch some outlaw racing.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Picked up a 2002 6.0L engine complete with harness, computer & accessories with 60K mileage on friday.
Saturday took my 15 & 2 yr old daughters shopping, waited for my youngests batteries to wear down @ the playground Then on sunday contemplated doing a little yard work from the couch. I didn't get very far.

Congrats on the new addition. Twins on pie day!!!! Should have seen it coming!!! Truck related I removed the helper leaf and reinstalled the rear end after a refresh. removed the leaky exhaust and cleaned up some wiring in the engine bay. Tried to locate the bearings for the steering shaft rebuild, dealer only $65.00 and thats just two small bearings. I find that a little high!!!!

Here's my toast to your twins!
I spend the weekend being irish. Made some tshirts for local fire dept. that was in the snake parade, we went to 4 parades total on saturday. and ended at local irish pub for dinner, live music and plenty O'Guinness! Sunday went to another parade and then went to Brownes Irish Market and met the Master Brewer of Guinness from Dublin. Kansas City is the place to be if you are Irish!!!!

I did look at a wrecked Green 73 chevy for parts but didn't buy anything. Lol

Re: What did you get done 3/14/10 Pi day/ st pattys day edition

saturday instaled a gas line into the laundry room for our new gas dryer. Then off to disney on ice yay!! The girls had lots of fun. Sunday pulled the crank position sensor off my o4 truck to try it on the wifes denali. The denali is stuttering and stalling, and i thought that would fix it. It didnt. Now I am thinking it is the o2 sensors. 4 of them at $70 each. Fun! Finished off the weekend at a bday party for my niece. Oh, i did look at the crewcab tho

Sat.
Worked on the electrical on the '63 Rivi....
Bolted the doors on the Charger and did a few burnouts in front of the house.
Mocked up and tacked the front suspension parts on the '27 T, as well as set the engine in it....

Sun.
Went and looked at a lowered '87 crewcab dualie.... may get it for a tow rig.

Re: What did you get done 3/14/10 Pi day/ st pattys day edition

Got most of the parts I still needed to do the automatic conversion to my 78.

Scored a nice front driveshaft, crossmember, tranny mount and transfer case shifter assembly. All I need now is the rear driveshaft and the time to do all the work.

Re: What did you get done 3/14/10 Pi day/ st pattys day edition

i didn't do anything as grand as the miracle of child birth....gonna be tough to top that one

i spent Sunday cleaning the yard. we had a hard early freeze last fall that caught all the trees with the leaves still on them and green, so we have been fighting keeping ahead of all the dead leaves in the yard over the winter. the City of Missoula opted to do a spring leaf pick up, which happened for my neighborhood this morning, so i had to spend the day yesterday raking and hauling everything to the curb. made for a nice day outdoors, though, since it was very sunny and 60°. got done raking and sat out the rest of the afternoon having a few cocktails and watching the day end...nice
